The Aboriginal Sports Circle NWT is responsible for organizing the development of Arctic Sports team at the 2020 Arctic Winter Games in Whitehorse, Yukon. Athletes will join competitors from Alaska, Yukon, Northern Alberta, Nunavik, Greenland, Scandinavia and Russia. 

To register for the Territorial Trails for the Arctic Winter Games, you must complete the process on the Sport North website by the deadline. This includes payment of a $100 fee to Sport North - see the link to their website below. 

Registration for the Territorial Trails is only complete when your registration, your payment and a wavier form have been received by Sport North. If you have any questions about this process, please contact Sport North at 867-669-8336.

Please be sure to read Sport North's handbook for details explaining how the various processes related to Territorial Trails and Arctic Winter Games. 

ASCNWT will be responsilble for selecting the coaches for the Arctic Winter Games team. Everyone that is selected to attend the games must sign ASCNWT and Sport North's code of conduct before heading to the games. ASCNWT will work with the coaches to ensure that their athletes are prepared before the games. We are here to support the Arctic Sports team in any way possible. 

Sport North coordinates transportation, and will not be repsonsible for travel costs of any Team NT participants who miss the departure travel arrangements to and from the Territorial Trails. Each participant is responsible for their own meals at the tryouts.
