NAIG Expression of Interests

The following Territorial Sport Organizations are seeking athletes and/or coaches for the 2023 North American Indigenous Games in Kjipuktuk (Halifax) July 15-23, 2023.

Archery

Archery is seeking coaches and athletes for 16U (Born 2007 & later) and 19U (2004 & later). The deadline to express your interest as an athlete is April 28, 2023.

Golf

Team NT Golf is seeking Under 16 & Under 19 (born 2004-2007) male and female athletes. The deadline is May 15, 2023.

Basketball

Basketball NWT will be holding regional selection camps in the following communities and dates.

Fort Simpson - April 14 - 16
Norman Wells - April 14 - 16
Inuvik - April 21 - 23
Yellowknife - May 5 - 7
Hay River - May 12 - 14

The camps will be open to Under 16 female athletes (Born 2007 or later) and Under 19 male athletes (born 2004 or later). The deadline to register for a camp is the day before the start of the camp.

Under 19 Male Soccer

The NWT Soccer Association is seeking interested Under 19 (born 2004 or later) male athletes to attend a selection camp from May 6-7, 2023, in Yellowknife. The deadline to register is Friday, April 28, 2023.

Volleyball

Volleyball NT is holding a selection camp in Yellowknife, NT from May 19 - 22, 2023. This camp is open to male and female Under 19 athletes. The deadline to register is May 5, 2023.
