The 2024 Arctic Winter Games are on the horizon, and Team Northwest Territories (NT) is gearing up for this extraordinary sporting event. This competition brings together athletes from northern regions, celebrating the unique sports and traditions of the Arctic. Archery, Arctic Sports, and Dene Games are integral parts of this cultural gathering, and Team NT is on the hunt for exceptional coaches to lead their athletes to victory.

The Call for Coaches:

Team NT is actively recruiting coaches who are passionate about these Games and share the values and cultures of the North. If you believe you have the knowledge and experience to help our athletes excel in Archery, Arctic Sports, or Dene Games, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications:

  • Be a resident of the Northwest Territories
  • Be available for the Territorial Trials (Dec 13-Dec 17, 2023)
  • Be available for the Arctic Winter Games which takes place in the Mat-Su Borough, Alaska (March 10-16, 2024)
  • Have a valid passport
  • Have a clean Criminal Record Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
