Archery Championships

**DEADLINE TO REGISTER: JUNE 8TH, 2018**

This annual event was started to give students in the communities the opportunity to showcase their skills at a territorial level. All students and schools across the NWT are invited to participate. 

The 2018 NWT Archery Championships will take place at the Yellowknife Ski Club from June 15-17. This year's Championships will also help in identifying potential athletes for Canada Summer Games. 

Schedule of Events (Tentative)

Friday June 15th

Registration @ St. Joseph's School 6-7PM

Canada Winter Games ID Camp @ St. Joseph's School 7-9PM

Saturday June 16th (Yellowknife Ski Club)

Orientation 8-10AM

U14/U16 Traditional/Recurve 10AM-NOON

U19/Open Traditional/Recurve 1-3PM

U14/U16 Compound 3-5PM

Sunday June 17th (Yellowknife Ski Club)

U19/Open Compound 10AM-NOON

Awards @ Noon

ABOUT THE ABORIGINAL SPORTS CIRCLE WORKING IN YOUR COMMUNITY

Established in 1999, ASCNWT was created through a national consensus-building process in response to the need for more accessible and equitable sport and recreation opportunities for Aboriginal peoples across the Northwest Territories.

We believe that all Aboriginal people in the NWT should have the opportunity to participate in sport and recreational activities at a level of involvement they find meaningful and valuable.
